MetLabs approves new phx21™ features

On Friday, MetLabs approved a few changes to LDARtools’ phx21™ analyzer. This is important because it will allow us to update phx21™’s main circuit board while maintaining our Intrinsic Safety rating.
The changes include:

Better Power Delivery System – Allows a longer battery life. The battery was 12 hours, now it's longer! -
Current Monitoring Circuit - phx21™ will be now able to tell your Windows Mobile® Device how much current is being pulled from the battery. This will help our Diagnostic Technicians troubleshoot worn out batteries and improve feedback. -
Static Electricity Protection on the Charger Pins - We had a few failures when phx21™ was plugged into a charger without the user touching the case. It's rare, but it was also an easy thing to fix.
While most companies take the position, “if it is not broken, don't fix it,” LDARtools is cut from different cloth. We are always willing to admit there is a way to do it better- and we find it!
With approximately 75 phx21™ analyzers in operation, phx21™ is quickly setting the standard for Method21 Monitoring. As of last month, phx21™ and their happy technicians have monitored over ONE MILLION components.

LDARtools Announces Partnership with Pantech Industrial Innovation Corp (品昌企業股份有限公司), Taipei City, Taiwan.
On recent whirlwind trip to Taiwan, Oscar Kuo with Pantech and LDARtools' Kevin Moses met with over 10 potential customers. So far, Pantech has secured orders for 7 phx21s. Taiwan has the potential to become a major market for LDARtools. We look forward to working closely with Pantech to, not only sell Hardware, but to develop custom software that meets the needs of our customers in Asia.

phx21™ and SpanBox3™ share the spotlight at the ISA conference in San Antonio

LDARtools attended the 10th annual ISA LDAR symposium last month. The focus of the show for us was the unveiling of Spanbox3. Spanbox3 has been designed to AUTOMATICALLY calibrate phx21. It routes gas flow from cylinders to individual phx21s while maintaining a set flow(no more adjusting regulators to change your spanbox flows). This week we warmed up, calibrated and confirmed phx21s while we were at lunch! |
LDARtools gets Surprise Intrinsic Safety Certification Audit

This week at LDARtools’ office a surprise inspection was completed by MET Laboratories on both phx21™ and c2™ model equipment to ensure that compliance with all of our intrinsic safety certification requirements are being met.
